and guilt and we will show you how you can develop new
coping strategies, which then will create a healthy
environment for the sufferer to recover in.
We have been associated with both sufferers and their
families for the past ten years. We realize the necessity
for a support group for Parents, Family Members and

people who need support from people who understand what
it's like to be anorexic or bulimic, or both, you don't
have to be in recovery but you do have to respect others
who are, by not talking about calories and numbers, just
vent your feelings."

Autoimmuneanorexiabulimiagroup A support group for those
who suffer from any kind of autoimmune group, and have or
had an eating disorder. "This is a family-like
support group for people who have not only suffered from
an eating disorder,, such as anorexia and bulimia and
overeating, but have .or are suffering from an autoimmune
disease such as lupus, fibromyalgia, CFIDS etc. I myself
suffered from anorexia and bulimia for many years, and I
now have 5 years of recovery. I have also developed an
autoimmune disorder possibly due to all the damage I did
to my body from the anorexia and bulimia. Not all people
develop autoimmune diseases, but there is a correlation
between the two. You will get lots of support and tender
loving care here, and you may discuss anything that
pertains to the above disorders. All who are not sure you
have the above disorders, may also participate. Its also
an educational and informative group, that can hopefully
help coping with these disorders. So please join, and put
in your feedback, and get alot of attention. And finally,
this is a list where participation by all members is
encouraged-that is where the TLC comes in."
-

Body Positive Forums. " Body Positive explores
taking up occupancy inside your own skin, rather than
living above the chin until you're thin. It is a set of
ideas that may help you find greater well-being in the
body you have. One of these ideas is to define "healthy
weight" not from a generic height/weight chart or even
arbitrary Body Mass Index cut-offs, but rather as the
weight your body is when you are living a reasonable life.
It is the weight at which your unique body seems to
"settle" when you are not obsessing about food and
exercise. It is the weight your body may try to "defend"
if you diet, or (conversely) if you eat more than your
body is hungry for. For most women, this weight is higher
than they want it to be, since our culture deems the
leanest bodies as the most desirable. It seems probable
that people come in a range of fatness, just like they
come in a range of heights. We don't think it's bad for
someone to be tall or short, but lots of people feel bad
to be heavier than average (or even average!) these days."
-

CEA-HOW. "CEA-HOW offers a structured and
disciplined approach for recovery from compulsive eating,
bulimia and anorexia for those whose disease has reached a
critical level using the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of
Alcoholics Anonymous. Everyone who has a desire to recover
are welcomed here. The Official Web Site for CEA-HOW is
http://www.ceahow.org.
ANYONE may share on ANY TOPIC they wish (except about
specific foods). Recipes and meal plans may be posted in
the "Files" Section. Even if you don't have a day of
abstinence you are welcomed to share. This is a place to
find love, compassion, support and fellowship to help you
get that day!
We encourage positive pitches, but sometimes one just
needs to dump. The only request that seems to be the
ongoing consensus is that you indicate how many days
abstinent you have so that we may have an opportunity to
reach out to you if you are in need of support, or if you
need a sponsor. We encourage you to qualify your pitches
by stating how long you have been in program, how long is
your current abstinence if you are comfortable to do so.
However it is not required in order to pitch."

and behaviors."
-
Cure-Group_Eating_Disorders immunicsBuddies Eating
Disorders. "Hi, I'm Frannie. We're saving the
world by teaching people that they can cure and how to
cure disease and have fun doing it.
People live because we and the people they love insist
that they do so. If people suffering with an eating
disorder (for example, anorexia, bulimia nervosa) can
personally interact with others who are using immunics to
cure or control it, and coach one another, they will not
only become asymptomatic within a few months, but will
form a revolutionary cadre that will go on to eradicate
all diseases from humanity, because this is the natural
tendency of anyone who becomes able to cure or control any
disease or condition.
If you have an eating disorder and wish to cure it, wish
to prevent it, wish to help a friend cure it, are already
doing so, or are an immunics master who has cured other
things and wish to help people with eating disorders, your
posts are welcome in this group!
Immunics was defined by Dr. Robert Casola as "the
conscious, immediate, and intentional control of the
physiological and psychological aspects of your immune
system and the use of your control to do methodical
immunological actions that effect cure."

Eating disorders and adults. "Most of the groups
related to eating disorders are geared toward a younger
crowd. I am hoping that here those of us over 25 can get
together and support eaach other. The group is open to
those with anorexia, bulimia or compulsive overeating. You
do not have to be officially diagnosed with an eating
disorder, just have a desire to get some support. While
this is an open group, in order to join I do ask you send
me your age and eating disorder. This is to help insure
that all that are here belong here."

Eating-disorders-holistic Managing Eating Disorders
Holistically. "Welcome to Managing Eating
Disorders Holistically, mentored by Elizabeth Bohorquez,
RN, Clinical Medical Hypnotherapist, President & Program
Designer, Sarasota Medical & Sports Hypnosis Institute,
Sarasota, FL & author of the book & Interactive
Self-Hypnosis CD Program entitled "Sugar....the Hidden
Eating Disorder & How to Lick It". Educational websites
located at
www.sugar-addiction.com &
www.hypnosis-audio.com are interactive & offer +350
self-development programs.
There are many types of eating disorders from anorexia &
bulimia, to compulsive & emotional eating. And then there
is "disordered eating" ! As much as we might like to
believe, we must manage eating disorders or disorderly
eating for our entire life. Now while that may seem like a
prison sentence, it is truly just the opposite.
By learning holistic self-management tools you will find
that your total life management changes for the better. As
you work to manage compulsions and emotions that are
related to food aspects of living, other areas seem to
fall into place.
This group focus is support & education for those managing
all eating disorders. Some tools we will explore & work
with include education, high level nutrition, thought &
emotion management & interactive self-hypnosis.
I look forward to working with all of you as individuals
and as a group. So, let's go.... Be sure to introduce
yourself when you join."

are struggling with eating disorders females and males. We
are well aware that young children are struggling with
eating disorders so if you would like to join this group
for them please do. There are many types of eating
disorders: Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, a
combination of Anorexia and Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder
(BED), Overeating, Eating Disorders Not Otherwise
Specified (EDNOS), PICA. We have a Nurse Consultant (RN)and
her name is Lynda and she can be contacted at
Fenderstratg1968@yahoo.com I can be reached at
Freedomisntfree2003@yahoo.com.
Please feel free to contact us via PM, e-mail, or call
(have a toll-free #)if you want/need to chat. Let us know
any questions, comments, suggestions, ideas about this
Group. We want this Group to be a "safe" place for
everyone to share your feelings thoughts, ideas,
situations, etc. Feel free to add pics, artwork, poems,
music, etc. Any and all contact with me or Lynda will be
kept with the strictest of confidantes. According to ANAD
(National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated
Disorders) people can become "cured" of their eating
disorders. We know that eating disorders is not solely
about food or lack of food that there is a root
cause/reason, i.e., sexual abuse, abuse, and the
possibility of genetics, but this theory is still being
studied. We would like to have chats on a monthly basis
that would last an hour or longer. It all depends on the
topic we are discussing and the level of interest. As the
group grows will be seeking CO-Owners, Moderators, etc."

House_of_Mirrors. "House of Mirrors is a group
for adults who have any form of eating disorder: Anorexia,
Bulimia, Compulsive Over-Eating, etc. This group is not
about judging others or ourselves; it's about supporting
each other as we explore ways to adjust our behaviors and
attitudes, and create a more healthy, less harmful
relationship with food.
People with COE and Ana/Mia disorders have more in common
than would seem at first glance. We all have false images
of ourselves and the inability to accept ourselves as we
are, and we can all benefit from the experiences and
insights of others, regardless of their particular ED."

journal extracts relating to eating disorders or to simply
talk to others who understand the loneliness and pain

your pain through words or give support and encouragement
to others. You DO NOT have to be in recovery to join this
