  • Childbirth.  "Childbirth is a weekly newsletter updating you on pregnancy related news and happening on the web. From Childbirth.org."
  • Ectopicpregnancy · Ectopic Pregnancy.  "Support list for ectopic pregnancy. The main objective of the list will be to offer comfort, information and support. The list will be very open and honest-whether you have just experienced your loss, or whether you are in the midst of "trying again". Women who have had other types of losses (in addition to an ectopic) are welcome to join. There may be talk of Assisted Reproductive Technologies, Trying to Conceive, and Current Pregnancies-these topics will be discussed with sensitivity notification in the subject line of the e-mail. Fanatical moral objections to any therapy involved with an ectopic pregnancy is not allowed and while religious debate (berating someone for having different opinions than yours) is not allowed, you are always free and encouraged to express your beliefs in general conversation. This is done with the hope that all women-no matter what religion-feel welcome. Racism (religious, ethnic origin, lifestyle, etc.) will not be tolerated in any way, shape, or form! This list is created in conjunction with http://www.ectopicpregnancy.com.

If you are considering or already studying Hypnosis for Childbirth, please join our group and post frequently, so that we may all learn from and share with each other our experiences in having beautiful, peaceful birthings. Shannen, in our picture above was at 7 cm, peacefully listening to her Birth Guide tape and sitting on her birth ball; *no pain at all*! She faithfully practiced her Hypnobabies techniques and successfully used it to easily bring baby Jacob into the world gently, comfortably and without medication or interventions. Her midiwfe, doula and the hospital nurses were in awe! You too can have a comfortable, easy birth using hypnosis!

If you are looking for a group of girlfriends to hang out with and discuss your pregnancy and hypnotic childbirth, this is the list for you! We are able to have more personal chats about our families and birthing plans than on a message board and have excellent help, support and tips daily, photos and hypno-birth stories. Listmembers are asked to go the extra mile and try to offer support only . . . if one needs to disagree, it should be done with facts rather than emotions, and in a gentle manner. Problem posters will be set to review or deleted from the list.

  • ReproductiveHealthforum · Reproductive Health Forum.  "Reproductive Health, Sexual Rights & Development Forum (RH FORUM)

The International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) held in Cairo, Egypt in 1994 marked a critical shift in the focus of population programs and underscored the reproductive health and sexual rights needs of individuals and couples.

This marked a paradigm shift from the concept of maternal and child health and family planning to Reproductive health and sexual rights. But today the advent of the HIV/AIDS pandemic has overshadowed an integrated approach to reproductive health and sexual rights promotion.

This forum broadens the discourse on HIV/AIDS to include local voices hardly reported in any medium and provides an integrated approach to the dialogue on development issues. Issues for discussion would include Couple relationships, Unwanted pregnancy, Maternal mortality and morbidity, Sexually transmitted diseases (STD), Unsafe Abortion, Infertility, Violence against women, harmful traditional practices and female genital mutilation, Special population groups (adolescents), Safe motherhood, Family planning, and Population and development.

Through weekly discourse new ideas would be transformed to influence program design, implementation and public opinion in clearly observable ways.

The forum is a project of Development Communications Network, a media-development NGO focusing on science communication and public health promotion."
